To install on '85-'16 bikes, remove stock spring clips on fender frame, and replace with included U-nuts (included). Make sure U-nuts are installed with the threads on side facing the wheel.
To install '17-'22 bikes, replace stock HD knobs with safety bolts without using U-Nuts.
Do not thumb tighten screws. Tighten down until you hear "KLIK-KLIK-KLIK".
